On Monday, October 3th, I went to the Enter Shikari tour with one thing on my mind: watching ‘Your Demise’ again. I saw these guys before on the Incubate festival in Tilburg. Along with ‘Misery Signals’ They ripped the place apart. So I took the chance to watch these guys perform and they stole the show again but this time in ‘013’ (one of the biggest cultural venues in Holland).

Letlive
The evening started with the band ‘Letlive’ which was the biggest surprise of the night. I was particularly amazed by the energy and performance of their frontman. He went nuts on stage and tried to activate the boring audience. The audience were like zombies standing around doing nothing, kind of felt bad for the band because they were truly the surprise of the night. The frontman didn’t succeed to arouse the audience which was a letdown but apart from that he showed us a true ‘Rockstar’ performance by crashing into the drums, throwing with stuff, dancing like a complete psycho and some weird speeches.

After the concert I immediately searched for their music, I heard one song from them a while ago called ‘Casino Columbus’ but back then it didn’t make an impact. After I did some research, listened to their album and their lead single ‘Casino Columbus’ the band actually became one of my favorite bands right now. Unique in its own way, if you like diverse, heavy hardcore/rock with a raw edge you should definitely check out this band and buy their album ‘Fake History'.

Your Demise
Your Demise came second and they ripped the place apart, total chaos! The pit started and a lot of people suddenly went nuts. Its kind of obvious because ‘Your Demise’ is well established in the alternative music industry right now. They released several albums in comparison to ‘Letlive’ which released one big album I know of.
Highlights of the evening were their best tracks ‘Miles Away’ and ‘The Kids We Used To Be’. You should’ve seen the audience when they played ‘The Kids We Used To Be’. It was amazing to witness from what I’ve seen (Both songs I jumped on the sing-alongs and went nuts haha).

If you’re not familiar with ‘Your Demise’ check out the video below! Amazing UK hardcore band!

I didn’t care about ‘Enter Shikari’ I don’t like their music and the band in general. After one song I saw enough, not my cup of tea. The support acts stole the show and that’s what I like to see from concerts in mainstream venues. Good job ‘Letlive’ and ‘Your Demise’ will be seeing you guys in the future!

(Also i would like to thank a classmate of mine 'Sjuul' for giving me a signed copy of the album 'Ignorance Never Dies' by Your Demise, Thanks bro!)
